Natural resources
These are substances taken from the earth that is used to
support life and meet people’s needs. Materials such as Oil, Coal, Natural Gas,
Metals, Stone, iron ore, water, and more. These are tired from nature and used
with some adaptation.
Pakistan's official name is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, It is the 5th most populous country and 33rd largest country by area. The country is located b/w South Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Pakistan land is rich in natural resources like Coal, Oil, Gas, Water, forest, metals, fruits, vegetables, seeds, and more.
Coal
It is an explosive black or brownish-black residual rock
with a good amount of carbon and hydrocarbons. Coal is the type of rock
classified as a nonrenewable energy source because it takes millions of years
to form. It is one of the most important primary fossil fuels, a solid
carbon-rich material. The country Pakistan has coal coating in Sindh, Punjab,
and Baluchistan provinces.
Natural gas
The natural gases are a combination that is rich in
hydrocarbon. The country carries 19 trillion cubic feet of show gas as a keep
as of 2017. In Pakistan, the Sui gas field is the biggest.
Mining
it is the process of where extracting natural material from
the earth. Pakistan has a huge coating of gold/copper in saindak, Baluchistan.
there is also much ore mined like limestone, iron ore, salt, silver marbles,
tiles, silica sands, and more.
Forest
Pakistan covers 4.2 million ha and plated forest which is
equal to 4.8% of the total coast area. The forest of Pakistan's main resources
is paper, fuel wood, lumbar, food, medicine, and more.
The forest is further divided into 4 types based on
designation and protection.
- 1. Reserved Forests
- 2. Protected Forests
- 3. Resumed Lands
- 4. Unclassed forests
Reserved forests:
These are the most narrow forests and presented by the government of state/country on any forest land or wasteland that is the property of Govt. In Pakistan, the Juniper forest in ziarat is the reserved forest that holds 247, 000 acres of area.
Protected forests: the forest is shown as a protected forest, locally people are allowed and have some right to do grass cutting, wooding, and grazing. In Pakistan, there are approximately 400 protected forest areas.
Unclassed forests: these types of forests are owned by the government and privately.
Resumed forest: these types of forest/lands are managed by the forests department. Forests are surrendered by a lot of owners through the specify of a shelter on the extent of land ownership.
